The Marketing Executive will be responsible for the development, implementation and reporting of marketing campaigns for events and conferences and other marketing activities as needed.

Description

  • Implementation of targeted email marketing campaigns to promote events and conferences and a focus on improving engagement rates and online conversions
  • Writing engaging and concise copy for multiple channels
  • Manage the communications schedule for the organisation's event department, including utilising email automation
  • Identifying opportunities for streamlining processes to reduce the volume of emails received by members and other prospects
  • Identifying the key target audiences and ensuring marketing is delivered on time
  • Developing relationships with external potential and current partner organisations
  • Report on campaign performance - sharing results and recommending ways to improve future performance
  • Working with the in-house design team to develop appropriate marketing materials online and offline (e.g. posters, meeting brochures, etc)
  • Working with other functions of the marketing team (social media, digital, website) as required to promote other organisational services as required

Profile

Essential

  • Experience with using CRM and Email Marketing Software (including A/B testing, creating automated campaigns and reporting is advantageous)
  • Strong writing skills with experience of writing copy for email
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proven time management and multitasking skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence building relationships across the organisation
  • Proven experience in developing relationships with external organisations and stakeholders
  • Creative and proactive approach to work, identifying areas for improvements and making appropriate recommendations
  • An enthusiastic team-player with a can do attitude

Desirable

  • Previous membership/association experience would be advantageous
  • Previous event/exhibition marketing experience
