A permanent opportunity for a 2nd Line Service Desk Analyst based in Corby
Your new role
In your new role as 2nd Line Service Desk Analyst you'll assist the IT Manager in ensuring the efficient operation of IT services. This includes implementation, development and configuration of new and existing, hardware and software. You'll work with relevant departments and the IT Manager to identify, test and implement upgrades to systems software. You'll be responsible for maintaining and upgrading the organisations mobile devices.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you'll have demonstrable experience of working up to a 2nd Line Support level. You'll have knowledge of both SQL & Oracle databases and hold at least 1 relevant IT qualification. You'll possess an encouraging and demonstrating 'can do' attitude in regard to service delivery and technology provision and exploitation. You'll be able to prioritise tasks, monitoring progress against agreed estimates and reporting regularly to ensure that timescales are met and service standards are achieved.
What you'll get in return
In return you'll be offered an initial annual salary up to £25,400 which will be increased after 6 months and again after 12 months, a competitive benefits package, alongside flexible working hours.
