Job description:

Senior Finance Business Partner x2
Based Stonecross (Warrington/Wigan)

Finance Business Partners are key to the next generation of our development as a Principal Contractor in the UK Infrastructure space. You'll partner with key business stakeholders to ensure right first time commercial decisions are made, within the ambition of our 10 year plan.

Your record to date will speak for itself, enabling you to use your skills and experience in a largely autonomous role, to advise and guide colleagues, and challenge the status quo.

We're fast-moving, fast-growing, and we need those from within the finance business community that can move at a level of pace that would leave some of your peers behind. The reward is a place at the top table in a dynamic organisation full of people that go the extra mile to ensure Group success.

What we'll expect you to demonstrate:
* Graduate calibre, qualified accountant with a progressive record of success and clear business partnering experience with tangible results
* Able to demonstrate an understanding of a commercial business and have worked within a complex organisation
* Possess strong analytical/planning skills, together with a strong accounting/ control background.
* Experience in working with non-finance staff at a senior level within an operating environment with a reputable organisation; credible and able to build relationships with a variety of senior business leaders.
* Demonstrable experience of working with a wide array of other functions at different levels - commercial, operations, marketing, work winning etc.
* Strong influencing skills - able to network effectively with finance and operational management across the business in a variety of cultures.
* Effective change agent with the ability to gain organisational buy-in and effectively accelerate and implement transformation plans.
* Strong intellect as well as ability to communicate at all levels, drive change, implement systems and work cross functionally.
* Personality fit is key; we are seeking a strong candidate who is both technically and commercially able to take on the role, but equally important is the ability to fit within a fast moving, demanding, complex and constantly evolving business.
* Personalities are therefore likely to be emotionally resilient, energetic, positive/can do, with the drive and ambition to success; prospects for progression are excellent.
* Able to translate commercial ideas and package and communicate them to the various business unit owners to reinforce a value-creation culture.
* Passionate, hardworking and with a real eye for detail, must enjoy working a hands-on environment with a small, tight-knit team.
