HRGO are currently looking for an experience Media and Communication Officer for a temporary 6 month placement with the county council. The ideal candidate needs to have at least 1 years experience.

Your will be required to:

  • Taking responsibility for presenting a positive public profile for one or more of the council's directorates
  • Media management through reactive and proactive news functions
  • Deal and respond to Public affairs
  • Monitor and evaluate media coverage
  • Arrange and manage appropriate responses to media inquiries
  • Assist in writing directorate publications
  • Research co-ordinate, write and issue news in web-style and upload associated news and pictures
  • Write and edit articles for internal and external publications

Hours: 08.45 - 17.00pm

Days: Mon- Fri
