Support Teachers

In the lead-up to SATs and the Phonic screening check, schools in Derby city and Derbyshire are seeking a range of experienced and knowledgeable teachers to run booster and support sessions. These children often have low attainment and we are seeking high impact, quality teachers to enhance the children's opportunities to succeed. These children need someone who cares, has a passion for their rapid improvement and has a good understanding of trying to engage possibly disengaged children. Although these children offer challenges, they need a supportive environment to grow and learn, in which we hope you can offer them.

These positions are in a wide range of schools working closely with a variety of children. These sessions will often be run in small group situations, run across the course of a day or a few days. The schools involved currently have comprehensive support systems in place but need additional support from someone who can offer their teams experience and understanding.

Additional benefits include:
Payment to scale in accordance with AWR - from £118 up to £170 per day.
Weekly payment on a Friday via an easy and effective online timesheet system.
Optional free CPD opportunities to develop and build upon your current skill set and to help you to feel 'up to date' with changes in legislation.
If you would like further information on this exciting opportunity please call 01332 291 723 or email your up to date CV in response to this advert to receive a call back.
