Manor House School is looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring Early Years Practitioner for the Autumn Term.Manor House School, Bookham is nestled in seventeen acres of magical gardens, woodlands and sports fields that makes our beautiful school a very special place to learn and grow. As an Early Years Practitioner you will support the Nursery and Kindergarten to help deliver the foundation stage framework along with the following;

Key Responsibilities

Learning and Teaching

To assist Early Years Teacher/s in helping to provide learning opportunities that will enable every child to reach their potential.To assist with delivering an effective Early Years Curriculum.To be a key worker for a small group of children, carrying out observations and tracking their progress.To work with individuals or small groups, as directed by teaching staff.To carry out specific learning or intervention programmes, as prepared and monitored by the Class Teacher.To take care of resources and equipment and assist in the preparation of sessions.To participate in the preparation, cleaning and adaptation of materials.To prepare for practical lessons, undertake photocopying and create displays of children’s work.To assist in the recording of observations for children’s learning journals including online assessments.To accompany children to specialist lessons.To undertake lunch and playground supervision as directed by the Head of Prep.To participate in the wider community of the school.To uphold, at all times, the school policies on safeguarding, health and safety, food preparation and recording of accidents.To ensure that hygienic standards are maintained at all times.
