At least 3+ years’ relevant experience in delivering IT projects and a proven track record in a Project Management roleFamiliar with MS ProjectLeadership and negotiation skillsCommunication and interpersonal skillsPlanning and project scheduling experienceTime managementRisk managementBudget and cost managementA background in IT business skills. Management, budgeting and analysisPrince2 qualificationJob Role:As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a portfolio of exciting IT projects on time, within budget, ensuring all the aims and quality standards of the project are met.
Duties:Develop a detailed project plan to track progressCarry out a project risk assessment and monitor identified pre-requisites and constraintsWork with Project Engineers and other resources (e.g. scheduling) and teams (e.g. Helpdesk Tier 3) to build project implementation and resourcing plansMaintain an overall project workload plan showing current and future projects such that resources can be forecast and managed and peaks and troughs addressedMonitor the on-going implementation of projectsProvide regular project status reports to the client or senior stakeholders on progressEnsure the time worked on each project by all resources is tracked and reported in the systemEnsure the availability of weekly progress reports highlighting resource budgets, resource consumption, completion estimates, and ‘red-flag’ warningsRepresent the Professional Services team at Change Control meetings and coordinate changes relating to Professional Services and connected projectsEnsure billable project work is identified and work with the Account Management and Finance team to ensure customer invoices are timely and accurateWork with and refine the Service Start-Up process to ensure good communication, teamwork, and understanding of projects across the companyEnsure relevant systems records are kept up to date by all involved partiesEnsure a successful project handover from Professional Services to Customer Operations so ongoing Support is smooth and effectiveConduct post project reviews and update the “Lessons Learned” logProduce recommendations as to ways to improve the operation of the Professional Services function (and other teams) across the businessDevelop project processes and templates for incorporation in to business system workflows and recurring proceduresAchieve agreed KPI’s
