History Teacher required for a high achieving school to start end of April on a long term basis until summer.

This secondary school is based in the Wigan area and has an excellent reputation due to success experienced over recent years. Due to a long term sickness within the Humanities department, the school has approached Hays seeking a History Teacher to start at the end of April and continue through until the end of the academic year.
Your new role
Joining the Humanities department on a long term basis. you will be responsible for teaching History through to KS4 across varying abilities. You will plan and prepare for lessons, as well as complete marking and assessment of pupils work, ensuring all pupils are achieving well and hitting target grades. In addition to teaching History, you would also be required to teach either Geography or RE at KS3. As this is a long term role, you would also be required to attend parents evenings and other school functions.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status and have experience Teaching History through to KS4. You must be available to start end of April and commit to continuing through until the end of the academic year.
