Contract Type
Full Time
There's no one quite like Kerry Foods. We've grown from a small farmers' collective to a multi-billion food business - keeping hold of our ethics, spirit and character all the way. Today, we stand as a leader in a competitive and ever-changing global market. We're aiming to pioneer new ways to delight the tastes of tomorrow, so we know that we can never stand still. Luckily, standing still has never been our way. Get right to the heart of Kerry Foods, and you'll find the Finance team and we are looking for a Commercial Financial Accountant to join our UK Head office in Egham. Joining Kerry Foods means becoming part of this incredible story - and helping to write the next chapter. This role is offered on a fixed term contract for 6-9 months.

Scope of the Role

So what does the role involve? We work every day to fuel and support the business's growth and success. And we do this by staying curious - looking beyond finance to inspire the next step forward. The role of Commercial Financial Accountant will deliver business objectives through providing and interpreting key commercial management information. A true business partner, you and your team will provide insight and analysis that will influence our business decisions. You will also lead and develop a team of Commercial Analysts as well.

Who are we looking for?

Kerry Foods is a fast moving and adventurous business. 'Traditional' finance won't get us to where we need to be. So, while we still value rigour and detail, we challenge ourselves to think innovatively and find ways to make things happen. Joining our team means immersing yourself in our business. We believe that, to do our jobs properly, we need to be great with people as well as numbers. So you'll have to be ready to get out among the business, understand the areas and get the big picture. You'll need to be an agile and commercial thinker too, because our industry is seriously competitive - and seriously quick.

A qualified accountant, you will also have strong attention to detail and be excellent in analyzing and reasoning - ensuring you can interpret data accurately. Ideally you will have managed a small team including graduates / part qualified analysts previously and be able to demonstrate value added financial business partnering. You should be able to demonstrate drive and determination and a continuous improvement mindset.

Sounds great right?!

Joining us means working in a fast, agile and ambitious environment, with talented people who really care about what they do. We're hungry for new ideas, so we'll always listen to yours. And because we're always looking to the future, you'll find plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.
