Litigation Administrator



Monday to Friday 8:00 – 16:30

Due to internal promotion career opportunity for a Litigation Administrator is on offer with Hunters’ client, a leading law firm.The Litigation Administrator will support the business needs through understanding the legal process, preparing legal documentation,

dealing with the land registry information and understanding county court documentation.There is scope for progression, plus the benefits (see below) are first class.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Open and sort all incoming and outgoing post on a daily basis.

Collect DX post on a daily basis.

Envelope letters by hand and using machine.

Process all returned mail.

Ensure all dispatched post is sent and recorded on a daily basis.

Ensure all printing and scanning is updated onto the system accurately.

Print and send batches of letters.

Correspondence with post companies via telephone communication.

Review Direct Debits and processing of incoming and outgoing cheques.

Run installment work flows.

All other general administration tasks as required.

Ensure 100% compliance.

Look to continually improve own and team performance, putting forward improvement ideas in a constructive manner.

Person specification:

Formal Education & Certification

GCSE qualifications or equivalent.

Knowledge & Experience

Good working knowledge of MS Office applications i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word.

Previous experience of an administrative role in a process driven office environment.

Previous experience of working in a legal environment (desirable).

Ability to make decisions quickly and confidently.

Team player with high customer awareness skills.

Self motivated.

Willingness to learn.
