Financial Controller / Accounts Manager

£28,000 to £32,000
The company are keen to attract a strong skill set and will consider a higher salary where this would have the possibility of reducing their reliance on their external Accountants.

Role Summary:
This role is responsible for all aspects of the management and monitoring of the company's accounting function together with many other peripheral housekeeping duties. It is central to the business and reports directly to the MD, Business Owner.

The Company:
A Sevenoaks based specialist Facilities Consultancy broadly within the Facilities / Commercial property Sector. They have a turnover of £2.8m and some 30 employees

Job Responsibilities:
Manage the day to day Accounts activities
Manage the Sales Ledger, including Invoicing, Credit Control and Credit Card Payments
Manage the Purchase Ledger, including Expenses, Accounts Payable and Petty Cash
Manage the relationship with the external Payroll Bureaux and oversee aspects of Pensions, Health Insurance and P11D's
Maintain the accounting IT.
Preparation of the bookkeeping records for review by external Accountants

Person Specification:
Applicants will have experience in a similar position and may hold an accounting qualification (AAT) but this is not essential. They will have good communication skills and the ability to manage a junior Credit Controller.

Additional Benefits:
The position attracts a salary of between £28,000 and £32,000 and the company may consider more if the applicants skill set could reduce their Accountancy costs
Initially 20 days annual increasing to 25
Contributory pension scheme
