How does the Primary Trainee Teacher role work?
In this Primary Trainee Teacher position, the first term is an orientation period which gives you a chance to get to grips with your role, ensure the school is the right fit for you. After this term, the school will assess your progress and work and determine if you have been successful to lead on to the Primary Trainee Teacher role.
Over the two-years you will gradually take on more responsibility, the second year will mean leading more lessons as well as completing your PGCE. You will be assigned a mentor within the school who is experienced and ready to help lead you towards your success.
