Our client based in Shepton Mallet is is seeking a part time Purchase Ledger to join the team on a 12-week temp to perm basis.

Hours of work: 09.00 - 17.00, three days per week, one of them has to be a Friday.

Hourly pay rate: £8.50

The role:

You will be required to undertake the following:

Open Post
Complete purchase order invoices
Update the invoice journals
Free text Invoices (Recharges)
Prepare invoice register
Scanning
Filing
Reconcile Bank Statements
Put customer Payments on the system from Bank statements
DD's on the system
General Journals
Check Vendor statements
Contras
Post Zero value Purchase orders
Open Po's list each month
check for any queries on invoices
Oversea petty cash
Match up customers' accounts
Sales Ledger - raising orders/processing orders
Be around to assist with holiday cover
Answering in coming call

The ideal candidate:

Must be a team player
Able to communicate clearly to all member of staff and senior members
Have great attention to detail - as it will be a lot of accounts work
Be able to cope under pressure
Computer literate
