The ideal candidate will come from a front line IT Support or infrastructure background and will understand the principles of service management but please note this role is NOT a technical hands on role. Training on specific bespoke software is provided. Candidates could potentially come from a service desk, application support, business analysis or project management background; with an interest in financial services software, financial software products, applications, trading platforms etc.

To be suitable for this role you MUST have:

- Be analytical in your approach and resolve a range of issues ranging from basic to more complex resolutions
- Interest in financial services

- Experience of working in a global enterprise environment

This is a truly exciting opportunity for a motivated technology enthusiast to join an experienced IT department with genuine long term career progression opportunities. As part of the service management team you will gain great exposure to the business and have the opportunity to liaise with the trading department, Developers, QA's etc. We are looking for a bright, articulate candidate, who is eager to learn, is inquisitive and able to demonstrate the ability to take complete ownership of issue resolution.
Please note this role will involve working shifts between 7am and 6pm. Shifts will also include an occasional out of hours rotation during the week & weekend (Blackberry will be provided). Offices are based in the City area close to Bank, Moorgate & Cannon Street stations.

As my client operates within the financial services sector, a DBS check will be required for the successful candidate.
