SEN Teacher required for small provision on the outskirts of Taunton
Your new company
You will be joining an SEN and care setting which is based on the outskirts of Taunton. Surrounded by beautiful rural views and countryside the school is based in an old farmhouse. The company have multiple sites throughout Somerset and Devon and the site you will be based at has an ever growing reputation since it was taken over by new SLT 18 months ago.
Your new role
You will be a class teacher to students who's ages range from KS2-KS3. With a variety of special educational needs you will be teaching a personalised curriculum which gives every student the best chance to succeed. In line with the school's unique behavioural system you will support students both emotionally and socially alongside their academic learning.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be an outstanding teacher with a huge passion and drive to teach within the SEN sector. Be a resilient and strong individual who is comfortable dealing with behavioural challenges. Hold a full QTS, undergo Hays stringent compliance process which goes above and beyond DfE requirements. Referable experience working in a school is essential, with SEN students is desirable.
