For this role you must be a determined RE trainee Teacher who has a demonstrable track record of 'Good' or above during your placements. We want to meet teachers who can influence the learning outcomes of others through their continually enthusiastic outlook. The successful candidate will have a positive, relaxed approach to learning and an inspirational teaching style that motivates others.
The department is very popular and RE teachers are expected to deliver fun and engaging lessons at all age and ability ranges. In this RE Teacher position you will be working in the close-knit Humanities faculty, surrounded by excellent colleagues. It is hoped that you can align your teaching style to match the creative philosophy of this successful department and bring your innovative ideas along to staff meetings. In general, you will be dealing with the full range of needs and capabilities in your class through assigning certain duties and responsibilities to your dedicated class teaching assistant.
