Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Assistant to join their team

Duties include;

  • Processing of all payroll for UK and international payrolls from start to finish
  • Collate new starter documents and review new contracts for payroll, commission and options purposes
  • General ledger account reconciliation and payroll journal preparation and posting
  • Expenses management and co-ordination
  • The processing of year end and P60's
  • Up to date legislation knowledge of P45/SMP/SPP/SL2/NIC's etc
  • Managing the apprenticeship levy
  • Experience: Required
  • Microsoft Excel able to utilise and run formulas
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Proactive attitude to working and learning new skills
  • Good problem solving ability
  • Able to work autonomously but actively be a part of continuous process improvements through the Finance and Payroll team
