Senior FP&A Analyst, £50,000-70,000 plus benefits, Permanent role

A newly created opportunity for a Senior FP&A Analyst to join a large and well established business in South Cambridgeshire. The role has been created as the business unit has expanded which has highlighted a need for further FP&A resource.

Your new role
Reporting to the FP&A Manager you will be responsible for providing financial support for various departments across the business unit. You will act as the right hand to the FP&A Manager and predominantly focus on business partnering. This will include involvement in the financial reporting and performance management processes and suggesting improvements where necessary. You will support the FP&A Manager in driving strategy, supporting the management team to monitor cost centres and identify cost reduction opportunities. You will own the rolling forecast for the business unit including P&L, cash flow and balance sheet. You will also support the business with the new system implementation and process improvements. The Senior FP&A Analyst will deputised for the FP&A Manager in their absence.

What you'll need to succeed
Suitable candidates with have experience working within a FMCG, manufacturing or similar background. It is essential you have FP&A experience gained in a previous role. All applicants must be professionally qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA with at least 5 years post qualification experience. Above all you will have a strong degree of commercial acumen, with the ability to liaise with and influence high level stakeholders and create insightful financial presentations that will drive business performance.
