Job Title - Project Development Engineer

Location - South East (Nationwide travel required)

Salary - £33,000 - £38,000

Our Client is one of the UK's leading provider of Environmental solutions, offering a full range of Waste and Energy Recovery services through a vast and growing network of Plants and Facilities across the country. They pride themselves in transforming what we as a nation tend to discard into a valuable resource, always maintaining the focus on reducing the carbon footprint and limiting the impact on the environment itself. As such they are looking for a Project Development Engineer to be based in the South East with nationwide travel.

The Role

As Project Development Engineer you will be responsible for assisting the Head of Performance Improvement and Optimisation in the design, engineering and planning of new plants within the group portfolio.

Role Responsibilities

As Project Development Engineer you will support HPIO in the preparation and update of the divisional strategy. You will draft and review concept engineering design drawings, preliminary process flow diagrams and mass balance of proposed processing plants as part of the projects development stage.
As Project Development Engineer you will assist the PDM in developing the project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stake holders and ensuring technical feasibility. You will verify and mange changes in project scope, schedule and costs while keeping within scope and providing comprehensive project documentation.

The Ideal Candidate

As the ideal candidate you will have proven track record of process design and project engineering. You will have knowledge of AutoCAD and 3-5 years' experience in project engineering.
As the ideal candidate you will have experience in recycling and waste management and previous experience within MRF or Plant operations would be beneficial.
The ideal candidate will be degree level qualified within mechanical engineering, process engineering, industrial engineering or chemical engineering.
You will be an effective communicator, self-starter and have the drive to develop within chosen career.
