Job Description

This role will provide support to the Vice President Treasury in the preparation and management of the cash position and forecasting processes in all currencies; ensuring the Company have the funds to meet all liabilities when they become due, and that any surplus is invested efficiently.

It will also provide support in the preparation and management of contract bonds & Guarantees and other Treasury activities

Key Responsibility Areas

*Assist the Vice President Treasury in monitoring of bank accounts, ensuring payments are made in accordance with requirements, and receipts are invested effectively when required.
*Monitor daily cross border pooling arrangements between external banks and with our Parent company.
*Maintain the daily cash forecast within the companies Treasury Management systems.
*Report on bank balances ensuring Treasury systems are accurate.
*Support the Vice President Treasury in the liaison and relationship management with external banks and internal customers.
*Responsible for, with the Vice President Treasury, the production of the 3 month forecasting process.
*Assist the Vice President Treasury in the implementation and continuous improvement process on cash management cycle.
*Assist the Vice President Treasury in the review and maintenance of Treasury Policy.
*Manage the FX review process to retime and manage FX positions.
*Maintain an accurate record of our bonds and guarantees within the Piteco Treasury Management System.

Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge:

Numerate, good excel skills, proficient with use of accounting and treasury systems

Qualifications:

Part Qualified or Finalist in Accountancy qualifications (ACCA or CIMA or CIB) or Qualified by experience in accountancy or banking.

Knowledge:

Previous experience in a Treasury department would be desirable but not required, as training will be given.

Skills:

Good organisational and Time management skills, proficient in Excel and other Microsoft office computer programs. Basic understanding in computerised accounting systems such as SAP.

Intrinsic Factors:

This is mainly office based role using display screen equipment. The successful candidate will be expected to work full time hours in a flexible and often demanding environment with tight deadlines. Occasional travel including driving may be required.
