Field Service Engineer Job - 39 hours per week + overtime. 8:30 - 17:00 Mon - Thur. 8:30 - 16:00 Friday

Your new role
You will carry out testing on vibrating power tools at customers sites all over the country and carry out servicing and repairs on electric and pneumatic tools at the workshop on site in Daventry.
Main duties will include:

~ Travel to the customer's sites and carry out vibration testing on power tools in use.
~ Record and report back on the results
~ Strip, service and repair a range of pneumatic and electric power tools when not off-site testing according to manufacturer's specifications
~ Provide support and technical advice for customers.
~ Monitoring stock levels for products, spares etc.
~ Provide updates on supplier performance and promptly advise of any issues arising.
~ Provide assistance in organising tool service scheduling.
~ Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by senior management.

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have an understanding of Hand Arm Vibration testing methods and power tool repair. You must be prepared to travel and stay away from home for short periods. You will be confident in front of customers and understand the customer service ethos. You will hold a full clean driving license and be educated to at least GSCE level or equivalent. If you have experience of a body-shop/automotive garage environment that you be desirable.

What you'll get in return
You will be offered a salary of £20k - £23k depending on your level of experience. They will also be the use of a company vehicle and overtime is always available. Full training will be provided in order to ensure you fully understand the range of tools and services provided.
