Software Developer (Java Spring Kafka Back-End Low Latency Multi-threaded). Global online trading company is seeking a Software Developer to design, develop and maintain new, low-latency distributed trading applications which are based on modern Java technologies (including Oracle Coherence, Spring, JSM and JMX).
As a Software Developer you will focus on backend Java development across the full development lifecycle, from design through to testing and deployment. You will ensure that best practise is followed at all times within your team and continuously seek out new and creative ways of improving processes, driving the company’s success forwards.

- Strong Java skills including experience with core Java in backend, server side applications
- Experience with distributed, concurrent, multi-threaded programming for high volume applications
- Degree educated in Computer Science or similar
- Excellent communication skills
- Desirable: Spring Framework, Maven, cross-platform development, Unix, Linux, Kafka
