We're now looking for a Senior Auditor to join our growing team.

You'll be responsible for:

* To lead, plan and undertake internal audit assignments.
* Produce reports of findings, recommendations and provide positive assurance.
* Apply internal control concepts in a wide variety of settings, and appropriately assess the exposures resulting from ineffective or missing control practices.
* Use company statistics and dashboards to assess the focus of the audit routine within the company and recommend courses of action along with audit findings.
* Monitor the implementation of agreed management actions to address audit findings and allow for the closure of actions.
* Build and manage key stakeholder relationships establishing a good working rapport and effective buy in of the audit routine.
* Proactively keep up to date with any regulatory and mandated guideline changes.
* Conduct ad hoc reviews and investigations as requested from time to time by the Head of Audit.

To be considered for this opportunity, you should have a recognised professional qualification such as:

* CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants)
* ACA (Association of Chartered Accountants)
* ACCA (Certified Chartered Accountant)
* CIPFA (Public Finance Accountant)
* IIA (Institute of Internal Auditors)
* CISA - Certified Information Systems Auditor

You'll need to evidence the following skills and experience:

* Internal Audit or relevant financial services experience
* Report writing skills
* Written and verbal communication skills and analytical skills.
* Ability to deal with risks and actions issues in a logical and organised manner
* Attention to detail
* Ability to work to tight timelines
* Experience of audit work from the planning stages onwards
* Experience or exposure to change lifecycle is desirable
* A recognised professional qualification such as CIMA, ACA, ACCA, CIPFA, IIA, CISA or equivalent experience
