System Architect - Docker, Kubernetes, Micro-services

A brand-new opportunity to join an established company in South Wales as a System Architect, defining complex end-to-end architecture of software services and advising internal stakeholders. The company are offering generous salaries + 10% bonus, flexi time, a 25 day holiday allowance that will increase with service, life assurance and private health care.

Having successfully launched several new products in 2017 and the start of 2018 the company are looking at growing their team and are in need of an experienced System Architect to join them. Their applications are used by consumers on a global scale across mobile and web platforms with data being accessed through the platform in huge quantities. They are looking to hire a System Architect to help translate business requirements from the Product team into actionable R&D projects for the software development teams to complete.

You will have thorough experience of System, Software or Solution Architecture coupled with a strong background in software engineering. Experience of containerisation technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes as well as micro-service architecture are highly desirable. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be interacting with several different departments and stakeholders, often presenting System Architecture to them and assisting Product Managers/Owners with acceptance criteria. The role may also see you travelling to client sites within Europe and internationally.
