Indirect Category Manager
Following a recent transformation programme across procurement a requirement for an experienced Category Manager, focusing on a range of indirect spend categories, has arisen within this Surrey based organisation. Reporting into the Head of Procurement, and taking responsibility for 2 buyers, your role will be to managed to category strategy and procurement activities across a range of categories including fleet, maintenance, property, FM, HR and professional services.
You will need to be able to demonstrate a background in managing procurement activities, including developing strategic sourcing methodologies and category management strategies, delivering cost savings and best value as well as managing stakeholders and developing supplier relationships.
In addition to you procurement experience you will need to be a hands on and self motivated individual who is able to work on their own initiative. Experience of managing a team is also a requirement for the role.
