A well-established business is seeking a part-time Accounts Administrator to add to their expanding team. This is a diverse role covering various elements of accounts and therefore the Accounts Administrator must have previous experience from a similar role. The Accounts Administrator must be hard working, have great attention to detail and a proven track record in working to deadlines. Hours of work will be 15 hours per week based on a pro-rated salary of £18,000 per annum.

Accounts Administrator responsibilities:

  • Supporting month end processing
  • Ensuring all entries are coded and entered on the system with the correct authorisation
  • Liaising closely with associations linked with the business
  • Invoice processing
  • Account payable reconciliations
  • Processing and allocating payments
  • Managing day-to-day transactions
  • Helping to resolve internal and external queries
  • General administrative duties
  • Assisting team members with any ad-hoc duties

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Completion or working towards AAT Level 4
  • Good communication skills with the ability to build rapport within all levels of the organisation
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Organised and skilled at managing a varied work load
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Able to use Microsoft applications to a proficient standard, particularly Excel
  • Highly motivated
