The concept for The Webinar Vet began when Anthony Chadwick, a respected vet, realised that many people in his profession were struggling to fulfil their mandatory continuing professional development. At this time, the only way to do CPD was to physically travel to seminars, which was expensive, time consuming, and generally a hassle. Seizing the growing opportunity presented by online education, Anthony set up the company and quickly developed the dedicated support of his fellow vets. In the eight years that have passed, Anthony has overseen the expansion of the business, grown the team to 13 and now has members all over the globe. The Webinar Vet always put customers first and continue to be a pioneer and leading provider of online veterinary education.

Purpose Of The Role

The purpose of the role is to lead The Webinar Vet’s marketing activities, working closely with our Head of Sales, to achieve business objectives and marketing strategy.Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will be responsible for executing marketing campaigns to drive the conversion and growth of membership sales, managing a team of two people. This is an excellent opportunity to join a newly-established sales and marketing team and play a significant role in the development of marketing strategy for a fast-moving company in a global market place.

About You

·Self-motivated with a desire to continually innovate and implement the latest technologies and strategy to drive results

·Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·Previous experience in a digital marketing role

·Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice.

·Ideally have experience in or managing ecommerce, SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media.

·Ability to analyse and evaluate campaigns

The Role

As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will plan and implement digital marketing strategies for The Webinar Vet. Your role will include but not be exclusive to:

·Devising strategies to drive online traffic to our website and increase sales

·Tracking conversion rates and making improvements to the website

·Developing the online customer journey to drive sales and conversion on the website

·Increase the level conversion from free membership to paying subscription

·Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns

·Utilising a range of techniques including paid search, SEO, PPC and Google Adwords

·Managing and overseeing the social media strategy and content

·Developing a clear brand proposition and ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels

·Managing online product campaigns, ensuring accuracy of content, to raise brand awareness and increase sales

·Responsibility for planning and budgetary control of all digital marketing

·Reviewing innovative technologies and keep The Webinar Vet at the forefront of developments in digital marketing

·Liaising with veterinary PR companies, to ensure The Webinar Vet generates media coverage

·Supporting the launch of our annual Virtual Congress

·Leading on the delivery of all Marketing activities in the area which the role covers, set high quality standards and ensure excellent execution that offers a great customer experience

·Being responsible for market research, customer satisfaction surveys and competitor analysis

·Developing a detailed community development plan ensuring social media is core to the overall communications strategy

·Effectively developing and leading a high-performance marketing team promoting the personal development and engagement of colleagues

·Positioning The Webinar Vet as a thought leader with content led communications

·Ensuring ongoing compliance with GDPR

Job knowledge, skills and qualifications

·Extensive experience in B2B marketing

·Educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably in marketing or business

·Strategic marketing planning and delivery

·Project leadership experience

·Strong developer of people and talent

·Highly computer literate, preferably with experience in technology

·A minimum of four years’ experience in a marketing role

·Excellent understanding of marketing and project planning techniques

·Excellent communication skills with a high standard of written English

·Professional, presentable, dependable and self-motivated

·Excellent interpersonal and team working skills

·Good understanding of media planning, advertising and online/social media

·An eye for detail and analytical approach

·Creative thinker

·Results driven
