Our client, a leading technology company, is seeking a competent and professional Accounts Payable/ Finance Assistant to join their successful team. This role will be responsible for coding, checking and processing supplier's invoices, reconciling supplier's accounts and for all other company accounts.


  • Day to day processing of purchase invoices
  • Reconciliation of supplier accounts
  • Check and file supplier's statements
  • Process staff timesheets and expenses
  • Send remittances twice per month following each payment run
  • Scanning and filing invoices
  • Sending company credit card statements to holders
  • Reporting on purchase ledger activity
  • Posting cash receipts and payments
  • Reconciling the cashbook and bank accounts
  • Month end closures
  • Any other office duties as required

Skills and experience:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong customer and supplier focus
  • Proactive and willing approach
  • Previous purchase ledger clerk experience ideally within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience of Syspro a distinct advantage
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • A proactive individual with experience of working within a SME
  • Ability to multi-task, highly responsive and work within tight deadlines
  • Good organisation skills
  • Experience of multi-currency processing especially USD and Euro would be beneficial
