Person Specification for EYFS/KS1 Primary Teacher
This vacancy is designed for a self-assured EYFS - KS1 Teacher who has experience of working with pupils in adapting to their transition across EYFS - Key Stage one. At least 2 years of teaching experience is required for this post, as this will be seen as a middle management role. The school is hoping for a teacher who is able to motivate and inspire their groups and inspire all pupils by setting a high standard of achievement. This post requires a teacher who has the skills to lead effective, fun and challenging lessons that differentiate for all pupils. The school needs a teacher who has the confidence and authority to discourage and dispel challenging behaviour in their classroom cultivating an atmosphere of calm, productive learning.
As a Teacher you will be teaching a Reception class of 27 children and you will be joining a genuinely caring department. The school has a very mixed intake of children which makes it a vibrant and exciting place in which to work. It is also a great place to nurture your management skills. The school believe that EYFS Transition to KS1 education is crucial to a pupil's further learning.
