This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing, digital cyber security client who are currently looking for a Java Developer to join them on an interim assignment. You'll assist with the ongoing development of an open source data analytics tool.

What you will be doing;

- Work on some of the latest technologies to ingest millions of records per second into massively scalable data stores, and then process that data to provide actionable intelligence.
- You'll be involved with contributing to systems design and development decisions affecting the integration of existing and future systems, including Big Data technologies and cutting edge security and threat detection systems.
- The working environment is very friendly and relaxed. They are also very Agile and you’ll work with highly technical teams.

You will also need the following experience;

- Full life-cycle software development in Java (7/8)
- Experience working within a data-driven environment and with Big Data.
- Source control experience with Git
- Continuous Integration with Jenkins
- Test Driven Development (TDD)
- AngularJS / React JS
- Elasticsearch
- Docker
- Microservice Architecture
- Spring
- Apache Maven
- Apache Hadoop, Kafka or Camel.
- Javascript/JQuery/HTML
- Knowledge of both Windows and Linux operating systems.
