I am currently recruiting for my client based in Basildon for a Sales Ledger Clerk. Due to the location, you will need to be a car owner with you own vehicle. Working for a will established business you will have a minimum of 2 years experience with the following knowledge;

Key duties

* Allocation of cash/cheques
* Reconcilliation of bank statements
* Collecting payments by bacs
* Chasing customers for payment
* Creating Month end statements
* Opening new accounts subject to satisfactory Equifax reports

About you

* 2 years minimum in a similar role
* Some accounting qualifications preferred
* Self motivated
* Good oral and verbal communication skills
* Good time keeping/Punctual and reliable
* IT Literate
* Self motivated
* Determined/driven
* Knowledge of Kerridge system would be useful

Salary:

Potential £24,000 - £25,000 with commission, (Basic salary: £16,500)

Hours

Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00pm
