IT Support Engineer - 1st Line

An exciting opportunity to work for a Media giant has arisen in the centre of London for a enthusastic IT Support Engineer working on 1st line to ensure smooth running of systems.

Working in the heart of the City with a variety of bars, restaurants and cafes you will enjoy the proactive approach encouraged by the business to actively assess and find issues prior to them esculating. Harnessing an employee engagement culture you will be the first port of call for IT issues dealing with issues or escalating them as needed. You will also be required to be well researched; and constantly improving your own knowledge of emerging technology to better inform the business.

Responsibilities include:

+ 1st Line support for users within the business.

+ Network maintenance.

+ Working with Microsoft & Mac OS along with Windows including Microsoft Office.

+ Support users with any technical requirement, both internally and remote. 

+ Active directory user administration.

+ Printer installation and maintenance.

+ Manage communications systems, such as phone system & mobile phones.

+ Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications.
