Supply Chain Planning Manager

If it’s the latter, you might be interested in a Supply Chain Planning Manager position with a high-volume distributor based in the Leicestershire area.
The supply planning team have direct accountability for inventory management and replenishment of the product portfolio. A global business, each country serves their local market. In the UK, this is done through 2 warehouse sites often operating on a next day delivery basis. Outbound is a mix of palletised and parcel shipments. Forecasting is exception based.
The position balances short term supply management (through the direct management of a team of 15) with medium to long term supply chain development. The business has a clear 3-year plan, which includes development of systems and processes, and introduction of an S&OP process.
You’ll have direct accountability for the inventory position and performance within the business.
