About the role:

As part of our continued success we are looking for a Head of Marketing to join our team and play a pivotal role in the next stage of our company’s growth and help us to continue to develop as one of Europe’s leading travel businesses.

As a key member of the Senior Management team, the Head of Marketing will report to the Chief Digital Officer and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the marketing strategy.

You will implement a wide range of marketing techniques, both traditional and new media, as well as think creatively, devising new ways of communicating with existing and potential customers through strong effective SEO and PPC campaign management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and analysing market trends within the spa and beauty industry

  • Manage existing marketing plans and budgets and design and implement new annual marketing plans.

  • Drive customer acquisition, retention and loyalty programs through quality campaigns across various marketing channels.

  • Lead the marketing teams to provide engaging communication to consumers across the digital channels.

  • Develop insight and monitor performance and ROI of the digital channels

  • Studying competitors' products, strategies and services

  • Identifying new target markets and developing strategies to communicate with them

  • Managing the production of promotional material

  • Liaising with other internal departments such as sales and product distribution

  • Producing reports to monitor results

  • Performance management of individuals in existing marketing team

Experience and Qualifications:

  • At least three + years’ experience at Management level in a Marketing Team.

  • University educated in Marketing or related fields (BA/BSC/MA/MSC)

  • Proven experience in a Business Development or Marketing role, with good experience of International business and a track record of success

  • Experience of managing multi-million advertising campaigns creating a successful brand package.

  • A solid grounding in all marketing channels including PPC, SEO, Content and Social Media

  • Leading and building a marketing team including the management of creative, digital media and PR agencies

  • Utilising data and analytics to inform marketing strategy and business decisions

  • Has implemented a variety of 'above the line’ marketing campaigns successfully

  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours to manage several projects simultaneously

  • Experience in the Spa or Beauty industry would be an advantage but is not essential.
