Amazon Web Services (AWS) is rapidly expanding its presence in theenterprise arena with a focus on financial services. AWS offers globalpublic cloud offerings with a diversity of compliance programs andattestations to help enable the AWS customer base. AWS is looking forindependent, passionate, and deeply experienced professionals in theglobal financial services compliance arena to provide thought managementin assisting partners, financial institutions and agencies to move theirsensitive workloads and heavily regulated data into the cloud byaddressing their specific security, regulatory, and compliancerequirements. This candidate should be a technically experienced andinnovative security/compliance professional who has the ability tohandle a wide range of compliance requirements and can translate thoserequirements into applications for cloud computing. This RegulatoryCompliance Manager will directly liaise with AWS partners, financialinstitutions, regulatory bodies, and customer agencies in adapting theircontrol framework to help successfully move their IT to the AWS cloud environment.This key position requires specialized experience supporting financialservices sector compliance efforts and will have high visibility at themost senior levels of government agencies, institutions, and AWSincluding frequent interaction with CISOs, CTOs, their staffs, and AWSsenior leadership. The position, as part of the AWS Security Assuranceteam, will act as the primary Security Assurance interface for theinternal and external Financial Services community. The candidate willalready have and continue to foster key relationships, be able tointerpret the impacts of policy changes, and track and report onindustry trends.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Participate in financial services regulatory compliance assessment andauthorization relevant discussions with AWS teams. This includessynthesizing control requirements, and recommending and pursuingalternative approaches assisting customers in developing compliance roadmaps.- Help develop industry compliance related, customer-facing resourcesbased on projected customer needs and current demand.- Assist the AWS Security Assurance team in determining the direction ofthe various AWS compliance programs based on customer interaction anddemonstrative metrics.- Be and remain connected with industry trends and events. Develop andmaintain personal relationships with key government industry personneland policy makers.- Assist work of internal and external auditors or advisors as needed.- Keep the AWS Security Assurance leadership team fully informed ofcustomer engagement status, issues, and activities.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge,skill, and/or ability required:- Experience in Financial Services compliance- Experience risk assessment and analytical decision making withwritten/verbal communication experience at the executive level- Personal, hands-on experience in developing compliance, regulatory,documentation with a high level of independence- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with a high level ofindependence in using these resources to communicate effectivelyTravel may be required for this role, up to 30%.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management,or other related business fields- Experience in working directly with senior corporate/governmentofficials and/or auditors- Familiarity with technical assessments and audit methodologies fortechnical systems (network, operating systems, application security) aswell as IT auditing processes- Familiarity with cloud computing services/deployment architecture- Demonstration of innovative compliance approaches in non-traditionalIT environments (cloud)- Experience and proficiency in public speaking- Deep understanding of IT regulations specific to Outsourcing andexperience interpreting law, policy and/or regulation- Proficient in defining compliance roadmaps based on customerrequirements, compliance documentation, and ensuring that committedassessments are delivered on schedule- Intermediate or better level of knowledge of certificationrequirements of an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), such as ISO, SOC,and FedRAMP- Strong ability to think critically and be responsive to time sensitive requests - provided by Dice AMAZON WEB SERVICES, APPLICATION SECURITY, AWS, CLOUD, CLOUD COMPUTING, COMPUTER SCIENCE, DEGREE, IAAS, RISK ASSESSMENT
