Oracle Commerce Practice The Oracle Commerce Practice will give you the opportunity to ProjectManage high profile and exciting Implementations for major Retailers inthe areas of e-Commerce and Order Management. You will have theopportunity to work on projects across EMEA. The Solution's The Practice implements Oracle Commerce an on premise solution -(formerly ATG and Endeca), Oracle Commerce Cloud a SaaS solution basedon Oracle Commerce, Oracle Retail Order Management Solution - OROMS -(formerly Micros Serenade) and the order orchestration engine OrderBroker - OROB - (formerly Micros Locate). It is specifically designed for theneeds of any business selling products online that wants to deliveralways relevant experiences to buyers at any touch point in theirpurchase journey. Oracle Retail Order Management System is an omnichannel retail solutionthat provides robust order management functionality for many leadingretail brands. It manages direct-to-consumer orders received through aretailer's website, call center, and retails store as well as managesthe inventory to fulfill the orders. Role Description and Purpose Oracle's Retail Consulting group is looking for an experienced anddynamic Project Manager to work as part of a team to Project manages theimplementations of our solutions. You will be responsible for managing multiple and/or large, complexprojects and associated customer relationships. You will provide leadership on planning, staffing, and executing OracleCommerce related activities associated with Oracle Commerce Consultingengagements. You will work in conjunction with Consulting Sales Representatives,Practice Directors, Client Partners, Resource Management, and other TeamLeaders and will provides guidance on engagement estimation and scoping,triage, risk assessment, and resource assignment. You will oversee consultants, Technical leads and Architects in thefield of Oracle Commerce delivery, ensuring quality of projectdeliverables, and acting as liaison to customer leadership on theproject team. You will operate under minimal supervision and demonstrates proactivework habits when overseeing the activities of Consultants in EMEA. Youwill achieve results through strong subject matter expertise,leadership, collaboration, and teamwork. The ability to communicateeffectively with team members and others within the customerorganization is a must. You will often coach other customer or partner personnel on bestpractices and technical issues and are expected to be capable ofdelivering a tailored message to C-level customer or partner executivesas required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead and deliver the project to time, cost and quality Lead project teams in the resolution of customer project issues, escalating to appropriate parties as needed Collaborates with appropriate Oracle resources on customer's business, organization and culture to strengthen their credibility as trusted advisors Validates and produces appropriate baseline project plans and templates Generates / Assists in generating Ordering Documents and change requests. Works with appropriate parties to plan project resource requirements Provides guidance, feedback, coaching, and developmental experiences to project team members Assesses project performance and communicates lessons learned to increase institutional knowledge Ensures project team adheres to Oracle's policies, procedures, methodologies and quality standards Manages services engagements including interactions with client project team and client executives Resolves all project issues including budget, timeline, accounts receivable, scope changes, software functionality and technology Provides regular project communication and status reporting Manages project quality to ensure customer satisfaction Builds collaborative relationship that increases customer's perception of the value Oracle brings to their business and expands future business opportunities Keeps individual and teams expenses within budget Records billable time to customer, as appropriate Records cost-transfer time to other Oracle teams, as appropriate Escalates issues that may have negative financial impact Manages service engagement budgets Reviews billing for all active accounts Maximizes margin on service engagements Ensures supporting project documentation is in order and submitted timely Agrees critical success factors with the customer for the successful implementation of the project. Guides the customer in risk management and mitigation for entire implementation plan. Understand the customer's business, goals and philosophy. Follows, endorses and improves Oracle's project methodology. Complete timesheets, expenses and other administrative reports in accordance with the requirements laid down by Oracle and/or the Client.Provides regular progress/status reports to Oracle management Experience / Qualifications 5+ years of project management work experience required Prince2, APM, Scrum or equivalent qualification / In-house methodology required Oracle Unified Methodology (OUM) experience an advantage. Experience Working in various SDLC methodologies (waterfall, Agile, OUM, Scrum, etc) is desirable Degree or equivalent business experience. Minimum of 2 years' experience of project or programme managing one or more relevant software solutions eCommerce or Order Management Software. Experience managing an implementation team highly desirable Experience of managing and coaching team members. Experience of working with co-located teams desirable. Strong experience of preparing presentations and status reports. Strong leadership skills with the ability to work as part of a project team. IT Business or Technical analysis experience desirable Proven experience working in a customer-facing role. Proven experience of change and risk management. Knowledge of eCommerce and or retail management principles and practices is desirable. Technical Skills required Computer literate Proficiency with project-based tools such as Word, Excel, Project, as well as others (e.g., wikis, bug tracking, source control, etc.). High level understanding of hardware and infrastructure desirable High level understanding of software development processes desirable. High Level understanding of Integration desirable. Additional skills Excellent written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills. Fluency in English essential Fluency in a second European language is desirable but not essential Professional attitude and appearance Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities and multiple customers. Experience of working with System Integrators (SI's), professional services organisations is desirable Excellent interpersonal skills, including customer-facing skills at all levels of a customer organization Solid presentation skills, great at developing rapport with customers and partners Ability to participate in Sales-pursuit meetings and provide technical commentary Ability to Recognize new business opportunities in already existing account base is desirable Experience presenting to/facilitating meetings and group discussions Understanding of eCommerce eco-system, verticals and online business principles is desirable Must have the ability to develop excellent rapport with upper level management Solid analytical and design skills Familiarity with business processes, organizational assessment, etc. (supporting non-SDLC projects) is desirable You are able to reduce complex projects into meaningful and manageable components You are pragmatic and adaptable to new products, processes and stakeholders You are a committed to overall team success and coaching less experienced colleagues Additional Information Willingness to work away from home Mon-Fri when required. Ability to travel and work across EMEA. More typically within Europe. Requirement to travel up to 100% subject to project needs. Strong communication skills to deal withinternal stakeholders, customers, and vendors. Product, technology orindustry expertise relevant to the portfolio focus. Selling skillspreferred.
