Job Description

The End User Technology team is committed to delivering enterprise class end
user productivity solutions and is responsible for all aspects of the design, configuration and
integration of these technologies into the firm. We are looking for a person to perform an Office365
Architect role to be a technical design authority for office 365 activities for the bank, and work with the
relevant engineers, specialists and teams across the technology department to successfully deliver an
O365 platform to the firm.

The O365 program is a multiyear project and will be delivering O365 services to the vast majority of
the firm. The candidate will have a very strong technical foundation, a strategic mind-set, great
communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with others in a truly global team.

The Office 365 Architect will be responsible for engineering, design, testing, migration tooling and
support model of the enterprise messaging, and collaboration toolsets to Office 365.

Key responsibilities

  • Experience of leading an engineering team to migrate a Large/Complex on-prem environment to O365
  • Appreciation and experience of security, legal and regulatory/compliance controls required to move data into a cloud service, preferably from the finance sector
  • Migration Experience from Exchange to O365 including hybrid environments.
  • OneDrive and SharePoint Online Expertise
  • Office ProPlus
  • O365 Mobile Productivity/Intune
  • Networking/Express Route

Requirements

  • Skype/Teams/Yammer
  • Azure Identity Design
  • Azure Information Protection
  • Awareness of Ping Federate
  • Large Scale Migration Tooling/Automation/Process experience
  • Deep technical Skills and capable of serving as a SME across all the O365 technologies
  • Primary internal stakeholders

Required experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of IT experience with a minimum of 3 years
  • Experience delivering Office 365 solutions
  • A degree in computer sciences or another related area
  • Working knowledge of / familiarity with ITIL. Certification to ITIL Foundation level is a minimum
  • Working knowledge of / familiarity with Project Management principles. Certification to Prince 2 Foundation level is a minimum
  • Previous industry experience with multinational companies beneficial of significant scale

Technical Skills

  • Office365 experience Exchange, SharePoint and Skype
  • Security products like Symantec and/or Proofpoint
