Job Description

The End User Technology team is committed to delivering enterprise class end user productivity
solutions and is responsible for all aspects of the design, configuration, integration and migration to
these technologies into the firm. We are looking for a person to perform an Office365 project
management role to deliver many components of the office 365 program within the core team for the
bank. Working with the relevant engineers, specialists and teams across the technology department
to successfully deliver an O365 platform to the firm.

The O365 program is a multiyear project and will be delivering O365 services to the vast majority of
the firm. The candidate will have a very strong organizational skills, great communication skills and
the ability to collaborate well with others in a truly global team. The project manager will be
responsible for analysing, collecting and driving tasks to a successful outcome in an efficient and
accurate manor.

Key responsibilities

  • Delivering key foundational elements of the office 365 program focusing on identity, network,
  • security and compliance components to begin with
  • Ensuring all tasks are successfully tracked and delivered against the plan
  • Collecting and remediating risks and issues to minimize project impact escalating where necessary.
  • Ensuring program adherence to project lifecycle and process controls
  • Further delivery will include one or more other project components including streams such as
  • OfficePro plus migration
  • Exchange online migration
  • SharePoint online
  • Application remediation
  • Primary internal stakeholders
  • Required experience
  • 5+ years of Technology Project Management experience
  • Track record of delivering a Office365 project
  • Demonstrate experience of leading technology migration projects and understand the
  • complexities and issues that result from such initiatives
  • Prior experience of working in financial services or consulting firm preferred
  • Appreciation and experience of security, legal and regulatory/compliance controls required to
  • move data into a cloud service, preferably from the finance sector

Technical Skills

  • Working knowledge of / familiarity with Project Management principles.
  • Certification to Prince 2 Foundation level is a minimum, practitioner preferred
  • Working knowledge of / familiarity with ITIL. Certification to ITIL Foundation level is a minimum
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Experience of running projects in an agile mode beneficial
  • Office365 experience
  • Strong MS Excel, Project and scheduling skills
  • Good MS PowerPoint, SharePoint and Visio skills
  • Business Skills
  • Sound business acumen
  • Effective leadership and management of IT staff
