Job DescriptionClass Teacher - Fixed term for 1 year in the first instance

I am working with this large, friendly and successful three form entry school in the South of the city.
I seeking to appoint a KS2 class teacher to join the happy staff team in September 2018.

I am looking for a teacher who is:

An outstanding, enthusiastic and highly motivated classroom teacher who is committed to providing children with excellent and exciting learning opportunities. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to work as part of a large team and the personal skills and qualities required to form positive relationships with parents and carers.


>Essential Up to date knowledge of the National Curriculum, and cross-curricular areas

>Up to date knowledge of the teaching of Literacy and Numeracy in line with national frameworks.

>Knowledge and understanding of curriculum development and usage in ICT

>Knowledge of assessment, recording and reporting of pupil's progress and achievements.

>Knowledge of the school's role in providing effectively for the needs of its pupils, including those
with special educational needs
