Qualifications Bachelor degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering Semiconductor industry knowledge Proven track record of successful silicon design of connected devices. Responsibilities You will be responsible to work with Microsoft's silicon partners communicating product requirements and product applications. Ability to communicate priorities is a must. Ability to recognize differing ways of accomplishing priorities is also a requirement. Your knowledge of hardware security will be critical to any solution. Strong technical understanding of threat modeling is a must. Ability to communicate complex ideas to marketing, sales, software and hardware is a requirement. Additionally you will be able to design the silicon architecture to be used in the systems. Understanding interconnect, component selection tradeoffs and schematics as well as supporting prototyping hardware and software teams is a must. You will get to work with Microsoft partners to incorporate best practices. Ability to communicate across job functions is necessary. You should have a good understanding of all parts of a silicon design flow including design, validation, verification fabrication processes, ATE test, DFT, quality, reliability and statistics.
