Procurement Administrator

I am currently recruiting for experienced Procurement Administrator to help ensure that an effective and efficient procurement service is provided to end users within the Trust. To make sure that all orders are processed correctly and usage trends quickly spotted and cost savings achieved

Location: Central Southampton

Temporary: Expected to last 2 months with possible extension

Hours per week: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £10.35 (Umbrella) or £9.00 per hour (PAYE)

The successful role holder will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks and be able to:

The successful candidate will be computer literate with good keyboard skills, knowledge of word, excel and a good telephone manner. Proficient verbal and written communication skills.

  • Provide admin support to for the systems and performance team and the procurement team.

  • They will have proven experience of working with an e-procurement system, providing data and analysis reports and ensuring governance is embedded across all e-catalogue activity.

  • The post requires a professional, motivated and enthusiastic approach, excellent analytical skills and to have a flexible approach to work.
