IT Administrator

Purpose of the role:

We are in the process of a large change programme and is set to grow substantially over the next 4-5 years

During this period of intense change and subsequent planned steady growth, a need has arisen for a key member of the team to perform a wide range of administrative and project office support activities to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization.

Key accountabilities:

To cover a wide variety of IT Department admin tasks

Handle requests for information and data

Coordinate and maintain department holidays/sickness calendars etc

Ensure that all invoices and Purchase orders are recorded against the budget line items and submitted to SLT member for sign off

Working with the Service manager to ensure contracts are kept updated and renewal is appropriately planned and executed

Work with the IT Team to assist in setting up process documentation and ensuring that all project and programme documentation is stored correctly

Ensure Change Control documents have been submitted for Change Advisory Board

Assist BAs and PMs in the collection of Customer Requirements and detailed business cases as appropriate

Support management with conducting focus groups / training sessions for Project Managers

Qualifications and experience:

Education:

Computer skills in Excel PowerPoint and Word

Experience of administering SharePoint sites would be an advantage

Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment (printers scanners etc)

Knowledge of principles and practices of basic office management

Experience:

Operating in a similar IT Admin role or Project Analyst role

Planning and organizing

Communication skills - written and verbal
