The Client

Acorn is recruiting on behalf of my client for a Legal Secretary to join their expanding team, working within the Specialist Personal Injury team.

The Specialist department represents clients who have suffered injury either as a result of an accident, such as road traffic and accidents at work both in the UK and abroad.

This role provides essential secretarial support to the senior partner in charge of the group and other senior lawyers. It includes carrying out specified administrative tasks, typing complex or detailed legal documents, dealing with internal and external clients, taking messages, diary management and arranging meetings

The Candidate

The successful candidate will be an experienced claimant secretary with a high level of IT and typing skills to include MS Word, Excel and Outlook, coupled with excellent written and oral communication skills.

A good telephone manner, accuracy and attention to detail are essential along with a pro-active team work approach.

The candidate will also be self-motivated, flexible and able to demonstrate a high level of organisational skills.

Benefits

* Paying a basic salary of up to £21,000.
* Monday to Friday working hours (9am - 5:30 pm).
* 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
