Customer Business Manager – Forecourts


c£45,000 depending on experience + Company Car + Bonus Potential + Excellent Benefits

We have an exciting and challenging role within Convenience & Travel Sales Team here in York.

We’re looking for an experienced Customer Business Manager to manage our Confectionery Category within the Forecourt Channel managing a number of accounts.

What can you expect?

Working as part of our Sales team, you will be responsible for the ongoing development of our forecourt channel strategy, and the management and successful execution of the Nestle account JBP’s within this developing channel.

The role has a high level of autonomy and is a great lead into more senior positions. Responsibilities will include:

  • Full management and accountability of the customer P&L, including Revenue, Spend, Market Share and Profit targets

  • Identifying opportunities and recommending actions to develop the confectionery category and Nestlé confectionery business within the Channel and specific customers.

  • Creating strategic joint business plans with the customer to secure maximum distribution and growth. Alongside Category and Activation team's, ensure all NPD successfully launched into customers

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for Account Managers who really understand the FMCG landscape, and we particularly want to hear from you if you’re already using your outstanding skills as an Account Manager in your current role within the Convenience or Travel channels.

  • A high performer and be able to evidence your successful impact on commercial performance.

  • Proven track record of sustained strong performance, and show how you have adapted to changing priorities in that time.

  • Enjoy a challenge, and have an ambitious, positive “can do” attitude.

  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial awareness and excellent numeracy skills

  • Experience of managing significant amounts of trade spend budget is critical

  • Customer Marketing and Category Management experience would be beneficial

Finally, you’ll be used to a high level of autonomy and to networking to achieve results.
