The recent re-location of the Head Office function for this market leading organisation has created the need for an experienced Management Accountant to take ownership of the accounts for two subsidiaries within the group.

You will report into the Finance Director and the role will offer the successful individual a challenging position which covers all aspects of finance, encompassing cash management, internal monthly reporting and forecasting.

The role will appeal to anyone that is looking for a 'hands on' role with responsibility for all traditional month-end processes including balance sheet reconciliations, capital expenditure tracking and reporting and P&L analytics and commentary.

As an ambitious and entrepreneurial firm the business is always looking at ways to improve processes and streamline their finance function; therefore anyone applying must be able to demonstrate an ability to 'ask questions' rather than accept processes as the norm.

You will work alongside a team of seven finance staff however projected growth will result in further recruitment into the finance team during the first quarter of the new financial year.

*Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts, including responsibilities for: analysing cashflows
*KPI reporting - design, monitoring and interpretation of key KPIs in the business
*Modelling/forecasting - P&L and Cash Flow
*Management of reporting requirements - internal/external
*Prepare monthly reports against budgets and/or forecasts
*Assist with the year-end statutory accounts and tax analysis and prepare the consolidated statutory accounts for the Group
*Prepare and file quarterly VAT returns and ensure accurate returns are filed and paid on time
*Reviewing and improving processes and controls
*Preparing for annual statutory audits and liaising with external advisors during this process
*Preparation, reconciliation and processing of returns - Corporation tax, PAYE & NICs, P11Ds and VAT
