Hays are recruiting for a well-respected and expanding business in Norwich,

Your new role
You will primarily be responsible for the production and management of daily financial transactions. More specifically you will be responsible for:

Monthly account reconciliations and weekly bank reconciliations
Purchase and sales ledger support
Daily journal amendments
Month end management accounts support
Stock management
Excel reporting on sales activity and ad hoc reporting for management.

This is a full time role working 37.5 hours a week between Monday and Friday. This post is initially for 6-9 months but could be made permanent for the right candidate.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need similar previous accounting experience, ideally within a retail business. You will ideally be AAT qualified or studying towards a similar recognised accounting qualification, however candidates that are qualified by experience will also be considered. You must have strong excel skills and be able to use Pivot tables, V lookups and be able to manipulate data.

You must be available for an immediate start and able to commit to a long term assignment.
