A great opportunity for a Payroll Assistant has come about at leading, well-accredited company based in Manchester City Centre.

Working within the bustling payroll department, this is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to gain great payroll experience and further their skillset.

As a Payroll Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Generating invoices by adding manual timesheets
  • Checking the payroll is correct by running trial runs
  • Reconciling the payroll and bank payments
  • Preparing sheets for uploading
  • Processing SMP, SPP, SSP
  • Maintaining client relationships and ensuring new clients are uploaded to the CRM

As a Payroll Assistant, you will have/be:

  • A GCSE in Mathematics (C grade or above)
  • A minimum of 6 months experience within a payroll-oriented position
  • Working in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with MS packages - especially Excel
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work to tight deadlines
  • Great attention to detail
  • Motivated and a team player
