An international company, market leader in its field with offices worldwide are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our dedicated team. Your main duties will include accounts payable, balance sheet reconciliations and assisting the Accountant as and when required.

Description

As the Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for the following:

  • Full responsibility of accounts payable function
  • Perform daily bank and client account reconciliations
  • Assist in compilation and posting of monthly journal entries
  • Maintain and organise the necessary records/files to support transactions related to area of assignment
  • Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and work closely with the auditors to ensure the completion of a timely audit
  • Interact with Accountant on daily basis
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
  • Review and implement any necessary control procedures, whilst interacting with the Senior Accountant on a daily basis

Profile

To be considered for the role of Accounts Assistant you must have the following:

  • A keen interest in Accounting with a minimum of 1 year's corporate experience
  • Strong double entry bookkeeping knowledge
  • Knowledge and proficiency of finance/accounting principles
  • Exposure to the audit process highly desirable
  • Actively studying AAT (beneficial)

Job Offer

£25,000 - £30,000 + excellent benefits
