Page are proud to represent this leading tech company based in the heart of London. An opportunity for an individual to join the accountancy team as a Credit Controller.


The main responsibility for the Credit Controller will be to Support the UK collections team in chasing outstanding debt

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for chasing customers for payment (primarily by telephone and other communication methods as appropriate)
  • Resolution of customer queries and working closely with the sales teams to ensure accounts are paid on a timely basis
  • Ensuring escalation of older debts as appropriate
  • Processing credit card payments over the phone
  • Working with the Accounts Receivable team to ensure any cash allocation queries are dealt with promptly
  • Processing refund requests
  • Any other duties as required
  • Work closely with the collections team, accounts receivable team and also the Financial Controller
  • Actively contribute to the culture of excellence within the finance team


Required Knowledge, Skills and Attributes

  • A "can do" attitude
  • The ability to work within a global team across multiple time-zones Required Education and/or Experience
  • Background in collections and/or accounts receivable
  • Preferred second language ideally French or German
  • Ability to resolve issues through collaboration with colleagues within the business
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Strong customer service skills in dealing with challenging customers and/or client queries
  • Proficient with Microsoft office packages and generally systems savvy

Job Offer

The successful Credit Controller will have full access to an extensive benefits package with an annual salary of £30,000 - £32,000

This role is a 4 week temporary position before moving to a permanent role.
