You will be working with a company designs and manufactures highly complex technology used within a number of industries across the globe. You will be a part of a fast pace team with likeminded people who are all experts in their field. The electronics team is responsible for overcoming complex problems and issues associated with the technology and suits someone who enjoys working as a part of team and having a real impact.
You will be working on prototypes and everything associated with the development of new technology, from design of PCBs to EMC testing and debugging working prototypes. The technology uses a number electronics including analogue, high speed digital, power supply units and microcontrollers.
• Writing firmware for 8/16 bit microcontrollers
• Design and building PCB prototypes, EMC testing and modelling
• Designing products for mass production
The ideal person for the job will be someone who is able to adapt quickly and has the technical knowledge to understand complex technology to make an impact from day one.
The experience required for this job
• Experienced in firmware writing in C or Assembler
• Knowledge of VHDL
• Experienced working with and producing electronic prototypes
• Educated to Degree level or higher
